Kazbahtoo reviewed Stomp Espresso
Heading over to visit the folks at Mt Gravatt this morning and in need of a second coffee. Searched Beanhunter found Stomp was pretty close with a fair score. It is a busy busy local road and a pretty humming old group of suburban shops. Looks like the locals love this centre and Stomp was certainly the main attraction. It's not a big place inside or the outside seating area but it's a funky little space. Outside suffers from being very close to the car parking and the traffic noise, but still made desirable with a range of seating options. Inside looks lovely, cool and quiet with a big picture window to look out (if you can grab the stools to enjoy it) The Menu and the food looked good, however we just needed coffee ....oh and maybe just one little coconut macaroon to go with them! Coffee is Veneziano and although not my favourite brand of coffee beans, the coffee was well made and robust in flavour. I wouldn't say strong and dark, but very pleasant. Hubby's skinny looked a lot more like I want more coffees to look, but that's what I get for enjoying full cream milk lol. Overall there is skill and passion on show here, not all about coffee, but definately caring about their coffee. A good spot to pop in again.
