Reviews of Primal Pantry
I usually have breakfast here after a weekend run. The food is interesting and tasty, and the Fonzie Abbott coffee is consistently excellent. I'm not a big fan of their Bulletproof coffee; the oil makes an otherwise good cup far too rich to even finish. Service is friendly, location is good, and dogs are welcome at tables by the footpath. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't yet. I will continue to go there regularly.
Great new spot in a tired area. Good to see there is always an organic single origin on special. The Honduras I had was a treat, sweet nuts and honey. The boys behind the machine were doing well pumping out good coffee with a restaurant the had no seats left in it, but still kept the standards high.
Had to go in and see what all the fuss was about after driving past a couple days in a row and constantly seeing a line up. It was Sunday breakfast and it the place was pumping, we had to line up to get a table then line up to order our meals, was not sure of this at first and I was worried we would be disappointed but the food and drinks all came out very quickly once we had ordered. Everything was great we had a couple of coffee's made on the blend and a single origin. Also an interesting coffee called a 'Bullet proof'. Great change to the area and I look forward to going back.
When my friends and I learned Primal Pantry uses Fonzie Abbot, we were all excited. They serve blend and rotate single origins. We tried Ethiopian and it was very thick in taste, unlike any Ethiopian I had ever tried. I often find Ethiopian's taste as very earthy, berry-like and light, but the one I had carried very dark, sweet, and chocolate-like taste. We all enjoyed our flat white, including a gf who normally orders cappuccino. Food was nice and tasty, but a bit too over-priced. Considering the location and quality, though, it is understandable. Service was very good, particularly an older gentleman and young barista. They were extremely friendly. I will definitely go back for nice coffee and banana bread.
