Reviews of Ltd espresso brew bar
In recent times, having felt a distinct lack of satisfaction with the offerings of several local cafes in and around the city, I decided to venture forth in the hope of finding something new and different. I'm so glad to have discovered LTD recently. This place exceeds all of my expectations of what a 'coffee shop' should and can be. Recent visits have included sampling Ethiopian Karote & Kenyan Mukerwe on filter and Saint Espresso & Blend #13 on milk. Whilst the coffee alone would satisfy even the most discerning enthusiast - it is the warm, friendly staff and unpretentious atmosphere that warrants LTD being worth repeated visit. In fact, it's so wonderful that I even created an account here to spread the good news. I honestly just can't fault it; from the incredible results of the La Marzocco EP, the Hario Filter methods on offer, the quality and variety of the product used and most of all; the unparalleled skills of the baristas, genuine friendly service and willingness to share in a beautiful, open atmosphere that makes you feel completely at home. LTD somehow strikes the balance between a place that you would either - take your mother to, unwind with a book, catch up on some work and/or see some friends on the weekend. Thanks LTD. 10/10 x HarioKart
I dare to say one of the best cafes in Brisbane. Luke has never failed me. He is like a coffee making machine with lots of humour and friendliness. Detailed review is found at: http://bnecafeexplorer.wordpress.com/2013/03/19/ltd-espresso-brew-bar-fortitude-valley/
Ltd is quite simply the most sophisticated coffee venue in Brisbane. The owner and barista is a gentleman and obviously a talented creator of coffee. I have been delighted with his smooth flat whites and am nearly always tempted into a single origin shot, with the particular bean he has in the grinder for the week. This week there has been a particularly amazing coffee from Guatamala called Esperanza which has truly blown me away. The flavor profile that the barista is able to draw out of the La Marzocco Strada is exceptional. I always leave better educated than when I arrived and on a high from such high quality coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed and unassuming and looking around at people in the Ltd, it is clear that everyone feels welcome, not just the aficionados. The only negative comment is that the drive from home is way too long. Why can't there be a Ltd in Tweed Heads??
