Have been using Bean Hunter for years now to find good coffee spots when travelling now but have never bothered to review any of the places I go. Until now. After residing back in Brisbane now for the couple of years there have been some great new coffee spots open but Ltd has really made an impression. Very few places have the owner the business behind the machine so it was great to see the owner doing the hard work. His passion towards coffee is evident even to the point of sometimes noticing him refuse certain requests asked by customers. I haven't had a single bad one yet whether its a doppio, pour over or even some of the new beverages offered that aren't on your normal coffee menu. Ltd has now become my daily routine from seeing the witty(and sometimes brazen) A frames in the morning, cup of coffee and if possible a good chat. thanks guys.
Reviews of Ltd espresso brew bar
I love Ltd so much that I thought it was time for a follow up review. I have been consistently going to ltd for almost 6 months and every visit is filled with amazing coffee, wonderful service and a continual coffee education. Espressos, piccolos, lattes, cold press and filter coffees are always incredible. Luke knows his coffee! He is always happy to share his knowledge but most importantly to give you a coffee experience that you will love. Ltd is my favourite Brisbane coffee bar. Why? The main reason is consistency. Every single visit whether take away or sit in is AMAZING. Luke is so passionate about sharing his knowledge he offers private coffee appreciation nights for groups of 4-6. My husband, myself and another couple have enjoyed taking part in the filter appreciation evening. It's not only filled us with great information but has helped us learn skills for making our own pour overs at home. To make Ltd even more amazing Luke now has some delicious treats to go with your coffee. Amazing macaroons and super yum DIY toast. The fruit toast is my favourite. If you haven't popped in to Ltd you are missing out. I would recommend Ltd to anyone who loves coffee, in fact I would recommend it to non coffee drinkers. It's just that good.
Wow! Without a doubt the best coffee in the Valley. The barista/owner is a master of coffee and of customer service, it becomes extremely clear early on that this guy truly cares about his product and service. I have not had a bad coffee to date, and on the odd occassion I get the chance to come in and sit down, his coffee art is impecable! He can even do coffee art with soy (my partners coffee). The coffee itself is flawless too, perfect milk (texture & temperature) and a really good bold flavoured coffee. It is hard not to stop by this place and have a good coffee and great chat.
In recent times, having felt a distinct lack of satisfaction with the offerings of several local cafes in and around the city, I decided to venture forth in the hope of finding something new and different. I'm so glad to have discovered LTD recently. This place exceeds all of my expectations of what a 'coffee shop' should and can be. Recent visits have included sampling Ethiopian Karote & Kenyan Mukerwe on filter and Saint Espresso & Blend #13 on milk. Whilst the coffee alone would satisfy even the most discerning enthusiast - it is the warm, friendly staff and unpretentious atmosphere that warrants LTD being worth repeated visit. In fact, it's so wonderful that I even created an account here to spread the good news. I honestly just can't fault it; from the incredible results of the La Marzocco EP, the Hario Filter methods on offer, the quality and variety of the product used and most of all; the unparalleled skills of the baristas, genuine friendly service and willingness to share in a beautiful, open atmosphere that makes you feel completely at home. LTD somehow strikes the balance between a place that you would either - take your mother to, unwind with a book, catch up on some work and/or see some friends on the weekend. Thanks LTD. 10/10 x HarioKart
