Kazbahtoo reviewed Foundry Artisan Coffee
Much against the grain of what I normally think of Westfield Shopping Centre coffee places, I decided to give it a shot after reading all the other reviews. hmmm might just be okay? It's definately in a nice spot against the big glass windows, you still know you're in a Mall but the fitout has a touch of grunge about it (thankfully) There sure was a lot of coffee paraphanalia to make me feel a bit more at home. And a nice big display of Dramanti bean bags. Now having loved the coffees I got at Dramanti I was hoping and praying. Firstly the guy who served me was hyper friendly, when I mentioned the relief to see Dramanti he got very in to chatting with us. And even gave us a couple of Cold drip El Salvador shot glasses to try. Nice. The flat whites came out with more happy chatter from this guy. However the latte art didn't look anything like some of the other impressive photos posted on here. The coffee was nice. Not outstanding, but nice and probably better than others I've tried at Indro. Not as strong and robust as I've had at Dramanti at Wynnum. They are using a 20gr basket, so I had hoped it would have a bit more omph in it. And not sure what blend of theirs they were using here? Good temp (not scorching hot like you get at some shopping centre coffee shops) So overall if I am at Indro again, it would probably be my pick of place to go.
