Reviews of Dicki's
Very clean surrounds. Efficient welcoming staff. Free wifi food great. Dont like loud in your face music as detracts from quiet reading place. Also lately the air conditioning is too cold and blasting away unnecessarily. Its April so not even hot ourside I always carry a jacket as you just can't rely on cafe staff to adequately set the comfortable temperature. Its a hipster vibe and great fresh vegetarian food. A 300% improvement on the previous cafe that occupied these premises. I have a hard time walking past without fantasing about the vegetarian rolls. Even when I am not hungry. Can't comment on the coffee. Cause I am so fussy it would not be worth venturing in there just for a coffee. But others must love it. Its popularity is gathering momentum.
A recently family owned vegan cafe. While the food menu is restricted to vegan options, they do still offer cows milk as an option with their coffee. I have never been a fan of non-cows milk in my coffee, so it was great to have this option. Their beans are specially roasted for them, and it is a really nice flavourful roast with a smooth sweetness to it. The service shows it is a family run business and they are out to look after their customers. A definite stop on this street.
