Kazbahtoo reviewed CAFFE IMPERO
Okay I was sceptical, inside the Mt Gravatt Target shopping mall. hmmmm I had walked past it for many years, I grew up here.....now visiting my folks and after reading previous reviews. Well I thought, here goes, try it out. So last week, I sat down in the outer mall seating after being served by a very animated enthusiastic woman. The cabinet was full of the usual food subjects in most standard cafes were product is bought in. I grabbed a macaron to go with my coffee. Well surprise surprise, the coffee came out with some pretty good latte art on top, a lovely gloss to the crema and a good rich colour. It's a big cup for what I am used to these days, but the old standard size. The coffee was good, flavoursome and well made. Temperature was a tad hotter than I prefer, but that probably suits the suburbs client base. Overall I would say a very enjoyable coffee, made on Veneziano. Not sure which blend though. So, if I should find myself here again in need of a decent coffee, or taking my folks out for a coffee....I would recommend it will not be disappointing coffee wise. The macaron sadly was not so good. :/ But hey this is Beanhunter, so the review is on coffee, atmosphere and service.
