the coffee is good and the girls are great but the manager there is a real piece of work. witnessed her having major tantrums at her already busy staff for not putting stock away when she had been standing around smoking for the last twenty minutes. not the first time i’ve seen it happen here either, these girls are clearly over worked and for them to be getting blasted for not doing something she clearly had time to do is completely unprofessional and she doesn’t deserve to own this business or have it as successful as it is. utterly disgraceful
Visiting from Melbourne Tuesday and Wednesday last week - food was nice both days, however service was VERY poor bordering on rude, and both coffees I had were average quality, too hot and burnt. Not what I’d expect from a cafe that is supposedly one of Adelaide’s best.
Another disappointed regular - very off putting to once again come in today to see the manager screaming at staff and throwing stuff around - if you can’t handle putting some biscuits away maybe don’t run a business. Coffee has consistently gone downhill, atmosphere is terrible (it’s a coffee shop, not a 90s nightclub) and I can’t handle watching the unprofessional behaviour of the manager anymore, so I won’t be coming back.
a regular there and the coffee and food is decent, however it's uncomfortable to watch the owner take her bad moods out on the staff - slamming stuff around, visibly being angry with her staff and taking over when her staff are doing a perfectly fine job is hugely unprofessional and off putting, if you want a calm, chilled place to go coffee I would look elsewhere.
