An excellent new cafe, with both excellent filter and excellent espresso. Very new, so details like opening hours might change, but right now its a great little place, reasonable prices and top quality coffee.
There is a great coffee scene in Berlin, focussed on Prenzlauer Berg and Bonanza is right in the mix. They do seem to suffer from silly serving sizes... would you like a bathtub of coffee sir? but the coffee is good even if a little milky.
A good place to start a coffee tour of Berlin, with Godshot and others a short walk.
A mecca for coffee lovers around London Bridge. THe only place to get a decent coffee for miles. Next closest is probably Taylor Street.
Known for their filter coffee, which is made there and then cup by cup. Espresso based drinks are always excellent if a little expensive (2.40 for a small latte when I was last there).
Only open Friday and Saturday.
Probably my favourite coffee shop in London. Everything is excellent, from the whole bean coffee and accessories on sales, through to the service, the quality and skill of the staff and the perfection of the drinks. Ive had the whole range of drinks, and every one was perfect.
How James didnt win UKBC 2010 is beyond me.
One of London's great coffee shops. There are a few truly great coffee shops in London, and the Espresso Room is one of the best.
Excellent coffee, well made, friendly staff who know their business. Good food too.
The only negative is that it is not in an easy place to get to.
By far the best coffee in the area. Always good, often fantastic. Served with latte art, well textured milk, and a decent espresso. In the same shop is a nice delicatessen which serves a range of foods.
Taylor Street have a coffee of the week used for espresso, and extremely friendly staff who are always happy to chat and talk coffee.
Without a doubt the best coffee in Richmond, possibly in West London.
I had high expectations, having read great reviews here. The coffee seemed adequate, but not particularly good. Espresso extraction time of around 50 seconds seemed rather high, and while there was some latte art on my Flat White, the milk was not well textured.
Possibly not as good as usual due to Barnes Fair today, but I would not go out of my way to visit. Much better to go to Taylor Street (Source) in Richmond.
