This place was on my 'must go' list on a recent visit to Melbourne and it did not dissapoint me. While I was waiting for my latte and moccha to be ready I see a steady stream of people coming. Some looked like regulars while others like me, looked like first time visitors to the 'Mecca of Melbourne coffee scene' (I dare say that now).

Service was excellent considering the large crowd they had to attend to.

Ordered a piccolo latte on my first visit - it was definitely good and something I could back for again. Tried caffe latte on another visit where I was informed that they used 2 shots for the standard latte cup. This is not common in most cafe joints in Singapore. Then again Black charge quite a premium for their latte, so 2 shots expresso was not really a surprise.

I am extremely picky with the quality of the milk froth that goes into my latte. I like mine velvety - this place makes the best I have seen so far within the cbd.
