This is such an enchanting place, that is embedded within a small pine grove overlooking the Sylt Wadden Sea. The place has such deep history as back in a WW1 and WW2 it was the location of a German army barracks, then after the WW2 the writer Ernst von Salomon made this place a artist refuge, hence there are a plelthroa of sculpures scatted all around.
Now the intresting thing with this place is the coffee, it’s a roasting house, and they only use fresh roast with there coffee.
Only after you have made your order the coffee is ground coffee and then served in the copper jugs for th...
I have to say that you have to try this place; ok they may not have the espresso, flat white or Latte. But as a coffee lover you need to venture and try the local brew. It’s interesting and you never know you may love it. I have to say that it was not bad.
The other interesting thing with this place is the toast, Kaya Toast, Butter Sugar Toast but the one that I found interesting was the "Ice-Cream Toast"….
A few years ago I was taken to this place and as my hotel was just next door this time. Well, why don’t I give it ago again?
Is it a café? Well, yes and no. In the mornings you will see more of the café culture and this is more notable on the weekends, and as you can tell by the name, well it’s a bit of a give it away, it’s very much an Australian expat hang out joint.
I have to say that there was a feel to the place; my espresso had a good crema and a lovely after taste. I so felt like I was back in a café in Australia, able to have a good coffee and able to catch up with Au...
Lovely creamy late and great eggs royale. The espresso can be on the bitter side depending on your barrister.
This cafe is bustling on the weekend - a very popular place among the locals. The two street front tables are a great place to people watch and for summer sun soaking there is a private little courtyard out the back. Certainly one of the best cafes for brunch on Fulham road.
The service can be hit and miss - don't come here if you are in a hurry. And if you want your coffee to go, you'll have to wait your turn behind those who are seated.
Well, this is a cafe that has been so so so needed this part of London. I am with getnoticed this aria has a plethora of cafes but none of them come near to Ginger and White.
I can see that this will become my local. Ginger and White have a team of people that are into coffee and you just can tell. I love their postcards “we don’t do Grande.” I think that just tells you allot about the cafe.
So get on the northen line and come on up. It will be worth it.
While searching the web for ‘the best coffee in Edinburgh’ I stumbled across Artisan Roast I just had to investigate, and indeed it was one of the best espresso I’ve had in Scotland. They’ve created a cafe that would make any Kiwi or Aussie feel right at home. It’s worth going to this cafe and spending some quality time with a quality coffee in The Mooch where there are board games, magazines, and local artwork. Not only does Artisan Roast do the best espresso in Scotland but they are well capable of doing a decent flat white. Artisan Roast is exactly as the name suggests, they a...

But please don’t get me wrong as for a good coffee in London its one of the best. I will go back.
