ICI used to be a favorite of mine. The only reason it isn't anymore is because there's about three or four cafe's i really like between ICI and my house these days!
They make a really satisfying coffee and i always enjoy sitting in there for a while in the little room. The service is good, and the foods quite nice too.
Great little spot on Napier if you're around.
In fact, i think i might head across there this morning for my coffee.
It's a cafe.
In a carpark.
The coffee I had here was (while being a while ago now) drinkable but not gonna wow anyone anytime soon. Friendly enough, kind of atmospherically bare place which you can sit in to overlook a Kew carpark...
Didn't eat anything, maybe that's amazing?
Every now and then when i've been up to Belgrave, i've never been able to find a good coffee in the main drag. That is until i found out that this old manor was a cafe.
It's warm, big, friendly and makes a pretty good coffee the few times i've been there. Their cakes were right on as well, but i didn't try anything else.
If you're in Belgrave fro whatever reason, this is the best place i've found.
Mario's is a weird one, i do go there now and again, but am never blown away by the coffee. The coffee is allright, the atmosphere is also OK, and the service is substandard.
That being said, take away coffees for students are cheap. I'm sure i'll go back there again.
