It's been here a while now and it's still excellent. They only do takeaway, so take that for what it is. Even with competition from Allpress and The Shoreditch Grind, it's still the best coffee in Shoreditch.
It's a ritual for me to walk here during lunch to get my daily dose of quality.
Not great.
This cafe has nice chairs to sit in and chill. The music in great and the place has a nice feel, but the most important thing is poor. The coffee.
The coffee is kind of drinkable, but really not great. Much better than your average starbucks of course, but you can do a lot better in this area. Nude Espresso and Allpress are both very close. Go there instead.
This is still my favourite cafe. I miss it badly.
The coffee is always strong and consistently wonderful. Perfect flat whites.
I love the atmosphere most though, great music taste.
It's especially good on a warm day with a breeze when you're sitting by the front window, or on the boxes out front.
I love Australian and New Zealand coffee culture, but the way this place celebrates it is almost a little cheesy. That said, the coffee and the atmosphere are great.
I can be hard to go anywhere in Soho without feeling like a tourist and this place is so well known, it's one of the first places Australian's recommend to friends desperately in need of real coffee.
I prefer to be able to take my cafes for granted, so I can feel like it belongs to me. Flat White seems to make it into a special event, "real coffee in London". It was a godsend when I first got here, but since then I've found...
Really great coffee. Best coffee I've found in east London. Way better then anything on Brick Lane.
Nice feel inside with wooden benches. There's a nice bar with tall chairs to sit at facing out the window and out of the way of the queue. There's some tables out the front if the weather is nice. Great music and not too loud.
It gets extremely busy on weekends, especially Saturday when the market is out on the street. Great place for lunch with a nice simple food menu, even though the kitchen closes too early (3pm on Sundays).
