I used to love going to 3 bean. There was 1 barista who was fantastic. However a little while ago he left and the coffee went from great to good. I went the other day and steam wand was covered in old milk turning a good coffee experience into a crap one. Don\'t go. You may regret.

I had heard a lot of good things about this cafe and unfortunately was disappointed. I was greeted with a hello and a smile which is great. I ordered a 3/4 latte which the girl taking my order seemed confused about. When the barista made my coffee he just out it on the counter without actualy calling the coffee out or letting me know it was there. Once I drank it it was too hot, tasting quite bitter and slightly burnt so unfortunately was unpleasant. With the amount of good cafes in the area this one does not stand out from the rest.

I love this funky cafe. From the groovy music which makes the place buzz to the great coffee and fantastic service I always receive.
They have a great courtyard out the back which allows for you to be able to get away from the business of life and rest under the trees.
There is also a good selection of food and when you take your table number you will get a surprise as they are not just numbers but figurines like teenage mutant ninja turtles and robots.
A great cafe with alot of good things going for it.
My favourite in Newport.
