Located on a quiet corner in the heart of Mossy Point is this pleasant little cafe. As the only cafe in Mossy Point or Broulee, it remains surprisingly busy, especially at holiday times. The style is rustic beach shack - with all seating outside under the shade of the verandah. Read More → Like • Share • ReportLoco Coffee is a quirky independent roaster nestled in a strip otherwise devoid of good coffee. The staff are friendly (and clearly enjoy working there) and service always very prompt. The coffee is generally very good, although it depends somewhat on who's behind the machine. The latte art, though not entirely free-pour is cheeky and a nice touch. The menu has a few nice touches, giving some homage to it's Israeli roots, and delivering solid versions of standard cafe fare.
The atmosphere is also worth a mention, with plenty of character and featuring local artists, changing frequently.
Great coffee, pleasant atmosphere and thoughtful, creative food makes this my go-to on this side of town. The staff are personable, make an effort to get to know regular customers and service is (usually) prompt. Any independent that roasts their own is worth an extra mention in my books.
