NYT offers a nice location however my coffee experience here wasn't what I was hoping for. I started off with a flat white which was drinkable but a had a slightly burnt flavour. My short black was ok. maybe next time. I will be back for the food however.

I rarely venture out to balaclava but was told about this one small space which is so hidden! the fitout is definitely incredible and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff seem to really know what they are doing and also offer other brewing methods on their board.

had a short black of one of their single origins which was rich, well balanced and made me want more which is a good sign. my flat white was super smooth, yet not too milky which is the way I like it.

I also ordered their avocado feta dip with sourdough which was very tasty!

This is one impressive fit out and equally impressive coffee. My short black was beautifully extracted. I also had a flat white which was lovely. I will be back to sample their menu! Feel very lucky to have found this place.
