They do a good macchiato. Sharp and full flavoured without being bitter, with a glass of water to care for your kidneys.
Great setting on a spring morning.
Though you should wear a suit and read the financial review if you want to blend in with the locals.
Fortunately this cafe has free WiFi because it has pretty ordinary coffee. Perhaps they'd be able to get away with it in the suburbs, but not in Newtown with Campos, Cafe Ella and The Shortlist all within spitting distance.
Flat white was overly milky and weak with an oddly bitter aftertaste.
But if you're on King St and urgently need to go online...
Got a decent take away from this hole-in-the-wall in the centre of Berry. There's a sit-down cafe as well but we didn't go in.
It took a while to be served (while we waited in the light rain) but the double-shot flat white that turned up was good - strong flavoured and creamy without being overly milky.
