Great little espresso bar tucked away in the back streets of Fitzroy. It's only a few days old and has bucket loads of style. Cute, quaint, lowfi and a bit hidden.. This is a great spot for your quiet morning coffee or catch up with friends in the arvo. Go there! .... If you can find it. Let the hunting begin.

Located at the new Quay West development at Falls Creek this cafe is pretty much what you would expect for a new shiny resort. Needing to tailor their coffee to the mass / general public it\'s a pretty bland cafe blend Piazza bean. The staff DO make the most of this inoffensive bean and make a pretty consistent brew. I recommend a double shot in your latte or flat white if you want the most from this place.

Great little french cafe right next to where i was staying in Soho. It totally depends who is working as to how good the coffee is. This cute little restaurant has a great atmosphere and more impressive menu. They seem to be busy every night serving quality french meals. So it' must be good....
I didn't try anything other than their espresso's. The word is that everything else is't that great.

Recommended by my mate Andy.. This place is amazing!
There are a couple of great coffee places in East Village, but this is the best of them in my books. They are serious coffee thinkers and the place is always bursting in the morning with people who are in the know.
For those of you who want a real kick ask for the owers specialty called "the black and tan".. it's a double shot with a bit of water and milk, much like an americano, but with their own quantity mix..

I don't know what others think of this place.. but i find it really dull and sterile.. I know it's more of a bar and restaurant than a cafe.. but sometimes after a movie at Balwyn cinemas.. it's the only place in the area on a week night to get a coffee from..
i think next time im here i'll just stick with a beer or wine.. the coffee with a bit cold and very murky.. not a good place for a coffee.. maybe they had a bad night.

Another Sunday morning favorite of mine. This place is great on a sunny weekend but a bit dreary during the winter months. It's in a nursery so you can imagine that you would be surrounded by sweet smelling plants and loads of greenery. There is no finer place in Kew than out on the decking area in the sunshine for breakie. Often this place gets super busy... but it's not a long wait for a good table if it is.
I gotta say it's more about the atmosphere than anything. The coffee isn't that good at all.. and somethings depending on whose on the staff can be really cranky. shame... i hate writi...

I love this place. It's a really unique atmosphere. I think it's better than it's bigger brother P&MJ.. it's quainter and the layout and design is better me thinks. It's got buckets of character. These guys really know how to interior design! Lamps, chairs, paintings, old furniture, new furniture.. it's all there. i can only define it as eclectic..
Anyways back on to the coffee.. They use Allpress which is a kiwi roasted bean.. i think it's a pretty awesome bean and i want to drink more of it!!! The coffee is usually lovingly prepared, the right temperature and always served with a friendly...

So im not sure why this cafe hasn't been reviewed yet... anyways.. let me be the first to say that it is pretty damn good!
Always packed on the weekend.. it's almost impossible to get a seat here between the hours of 11am and midday.. Quite often i'll drive past and there will be a line 5 or more deep just waiting for a seat.
The food is outstanding and it's the reason people go there. They also won some age awards for their ricotta hotcakes.. they are good.. but im starting to wonder if By Basias ricotta hotcakes are better.. oohhh controversial!
