Tried this cafe of the back of the previous review and was not as impressed. While I will agree that on a good day being outside in the Rocks is great, adding greatly to the atmosphere, and the service was very attentive, the coffee was nothing special. Worse, my double mac came out looking like a strong piccolo latte (way too much milk. The coffee was drinkable, but paying $5.50 for a coffee that I can get at cafes that understand what a mac is for less that $3, I did come away with a bad taste in my mouth....
Like • Share • ReportStill looking forward the perfect cup in Chatswood, I gave this cafe a go. The atmosphere looked good, and the food looked tasty, but the coffee was not to my taste. While still better than most generic cafes, I think my coffee was done a disservice by being over drawn. While maybe good if your in a pinch, I will have to keep searching for my perfect cup...

The service was fast, and the atmosphere, while the table was in the middle of a public thoroughfare, was great. Drinking my dbl mac in the classic surrounds of the Strand Arcade was relaxing. Coffee was quite good, and the waitress was attentive enough to bring it with a glass of water. Bonus marks.. :-)

The coffee was quite good, certainly better the normal Victoria/Starbuck/Gloria Jeans coffee, but not as good as some other cafes I have reviewed in the area. Service was also a little slow, but this is more to do with it being a restaurant than poor service. If in the area, give it a try.

Located on the top floor, the atmosphere was as good as can be expected in a shopping centre, but the coffee and service we quite acceptable. Seem to have a good range of food as well which is always nice (though not the cheapest cafe in town).

The only real complaint is that there was far too much froth in my double mac, but I know many cafes that have the same problem. Looked very popular with the locals.
