Nice nice nice. Even with the the six group Synesso and dozen or so Mazzers, Proud Mary somehow bucks the current trend of excessively opulent fittouts. Still a very nice, well designed fittout, it seems more practical than extravagant. The genuine service and solid coffees re-enforce it. There is a focus of discovery with the dozens of micro-batch roasts. If I was a local... this would be my local.

Perhaps doesn't have the charisma or speed of service of other Melbourne espresso bars, but you will never get an average coffee. Veneziano consistently roast & brew amazing single origins and blends. Shout out to Donnie in the roasting room next door. The Colombian was brilliant :)

Only been once, but certainly plan to return. Nice comfortable, practical fittout. Currently serving Toby's Estate (one of my favourites), which was well made. Judging by the crowd they are popular with the locals. My glass was superheated which made my short mach a bit, well hot.
