Really looked forward to my visit and was not disappointed.
Flat white first up. Well made, nice milk texture and temperature. I really enjoyed the fruitiness of the house blend. The staff seem very attentive and could answer all my questions about the blend.
My espresso was a touch thin and watery and lacked some body. It was not that it was that unpleasant at all, just not to my liking I guess.
My experience overall was great! Product knowledge, skill, and attentive service.
Found myself down the Gold Coast today did go out of my way to stop in given the high standard of reviews albeit most of the the reviews are from those who are 1 or 2 previous reviews hmmm???
Anyhow to the coffee. Straight up a flat white was ordered, the coffee was well made apart from most of it ending in my saucer (that's what the cup is for) I asked the waiter about their blend, not much insight given apart from its their own blend. I asked if they roasted it? Answer: No. I asked who is roasting it for you? Answer: Don't know. I asked whats in it? Answer: I' ll check. Hmmm... ok then!

I decided to check out the latest installment of Jett in Nundah the other day as it has been given some favorable reviews and I did give them a visit or two when they were on Zillman Road.
On first arrival it was dejavu experience same faces behind the bar, same food offering in the fridge.
I ordered a latte and preceded to walk around the cafe and came across the roasting area, which was covered in tools and dirty dishes? Looks like they are still finishing off the fit out.
My coffee arrived (see picture) a dry foam of about 2cm on the top. Scooping back the foam my first sip was v...
I have been a semi regular at Dandelion and Driftwood and it is still serving up coffee and tea to the highest standards and that needs to be commended! I had picked up some friends from the airport yesterday and they were also impressed with the level of service and knowledge of the staff!
Dandelion and Driftwood is an experience and something very special for Brisbane.
Well done guys you deserve all your accolades.
Visited this cafe yesterday as i was at HQ for a meeting. I ordered a latte which had great milk temperature that I like, the coffee itself tasted ashy and burnt and was the predominate flavor and lingering aftertaste, certainly strong for me not to order a second coffee.
Overall tho it was an OK experience for me but given that there is other choice close by does leave this cafe with a lot of room for improvement.
A so hum kind of experience.
What has happened to the is fine establishment? It seems that it has been abducted by aliens!
These guys did it well and did specialty coffee justice! My experience yesterday was terrible, the coffee simply stank, both in the cup and the way it was made, the quality of the roasted beans are supermarket standard.
I am so shocked.... i have heard that there has been a change of ownership with there head roaster leaving and new management running things and it shows....
Sorry Veneziano this was my last pour!
Well have to say i popped in today to try out this \'new lane way\' experience! I had two flat whites with the first being borderline iced coffee. Bravely the second was quite balanced with hints of dry berry, nuts and caramel. So I guess it was two very different experiences and a sign that consistency is an issue. Overall found it to be a bit to DIY on the fitout and the Rainers Ham sambo a win!

They are extending their cafe into the vacant shop next door. The service is attentive and seems to have a strong local clientele.
The coffee is roasted on site which was a good surprise. I ordered a flat white. Have to say it was disappointing, found the milk overheated, but the flavour was more about the blend, earthy, very predominate bitterness in the finish, not well balanced at all.
