I met up with a friend for breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised. The place is open and inviting, the atmosphere is not too busy and cool beats play over the sound system. Very chilled. Too my excitement they roast all their own stuff and you can pick and choose what you want. I love cafe's where the focus is actually on the all important liquid gold. This did not dissappoint. The short Macchiato was made perfectly with the milk sitting on the bottom of the small glass and the coffee was rich and aromatic and went down a treat. One was not enough and surely their latte's were just as goo...

The coffee is also very good, fair trade organic. Which I like to think is always a good start on the path to caffeine perfection! The coffee was ground fresh and the espresso hit the spot. Little bit bitter but the aroma and caffeine made up for it. Follow up latte was an even better treat, rich and creamy it hit the mouth warmly and left a great after taste. No acid. Perfect place to chill for a couple of hours on a drizzly morning.

The golden liquid ent down a treat with strong overtones and a thick floral taste. The follow up latte was good but the specialty was their espresso styles. Also a great place to have Brekky and chill out on a Sunday Morning. Relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of mags and papers for perusal. The staff are easy to get along with.

The coffee was a shock surprise, I was expecting a turgid water and milk but my latte came out all nice and silky witha terrific nutty tasting. What a great find whena caffeine fix was needed the most. Homely atmosphere with no pretensions, a rare thing in south melbourne. I'll be going back.

The first latte I had was really good, you could taste the thick aromas of the coffee with perfectly made milk. So i naturally ordered another one, this was made by a different person, and was actually terrible. How disappointing! If one person is skilled in the art of coffee making, it should be the only person making the coffee or the other peple using the machine should be trained by that person.
This place is cool enough that I'll be coming back though and we...
This is actually one of a group of 6 cafe's around Melbourne CBD that aim to provide quality coffee. And quality they provide! The espresso are extracted perfectly with rich aromas and no bitter acrid tastes to be found. The latte's are also cranking and are exceptional with art on most and creamy glossy milk. The dedication here is impressive. These guys are obviously passionate about getting their coffee right and training their baristas. The atmosphere is ok, a little sparse in the decor making for a less relaxing environment but thats just me.

The ristretto I ordered was nice and short, thick and the golden crema was very aromatic. The follow up Latte was also cracking with a creamy gloss and latte art and more importantly tastes brilliant. The produce their stuff as well and many different coffees you can choose from. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is buzzing. Smashing coffee joint, please move down to melbourne!

I watched as she made mine, she made the milk to perfection and the grinder was always grinding out small amounts of bean per coffee. This should be resulting in a great coffee i thought. And it did! the latte came out with a rosetta an tasted fantastic. The milk was silky and creamy and the coffee itself was rich and nutty. Needless to say i was surprised and ...
