Checked out Whole Bean again today after having stopped in quickly last week. just to grab some beans.
Michael told me the beans I'm my flat white today were a lighter roast to last time.
Quite a nice coffee again.
By the way there's a new addition to the place: a retro arcade games table.

I popped in again today to see if I could order their namesake drink; a frappé!
Well you can.
When my drink arrived it brought back memories of Greece.

Mind you, a frappé is not a drink for coffee snobs.
If made correctly it uses instant coffee and I found yet undissolved sugar at the bottom of my glass that was meant to offset a little of the bitterness from the instant coffee.
I wasn't asked if I wanted sugar; that's just how it came.
I few stirs, some clinking of the ice against the glass and all was well.

I dropped in this morning for breakfast.
I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into a pork belly sandwich, but it was busy even that early so wait I did.

However, when I first walked in I was immediately greeting and found a table and placed my coffee order.
Not long afterwards a waitress appeared to take my food order.

My coffee soon appeared.
Nice, with a hint of caramel and possibly a little nutty.

My sandwich eventually arrived and it was as good as the last time.

I was in the city again yesterday for a meeting so was able to stop in at Mecca CQ for a flat white on the way to catch my train home.

Great coffee as usual.
