The Little Pantry is just far enough from the crowds of James St to escape them but it has that New Farm suburban ambience about it.
I got the feel that this was the place where the locals came to get their coffee.
My piccolo had a nice slight mellow taste to it which makes their coffee different to others you find in the area.
The staff were friendly and it's a great spot to sit and watch the street scape.
This part of Logan Road has been begging for a good cafe and Hallowed Grounds Espresso more than fills the need.
A small cafe with some foot path seating for you to enjoy your coffee. They serve Elixir which should tell you they take things seriously. The Velluto blend was served nicely. First sip and you know you will be back.
Definitely worth the trip to visit this cafe. They have off street parking too which is handy.
Another cafe to add to your agenda when you are around James St. This place is a little cafe attached to a big kitchen but they use the space well and it is quite inviting.
Staff are very friendly which is always a plus but better than that they make great coffee. Nice toffee tones in the coffee and the milk was perfect.
This place has a reputation for the best brownies in town and they take pride in their coffee too.
This is a busy cafe on Wharf Street, it's full of energy and you can feel it when you walk in. The noise of the chairs and conversations add it to the great smells of their baked goods. You can tell that the customers appreciate good coffee.
I got a short mac and it had a malty feel that left a toasty after taste. The temp was perfect and served in a good sized short cup. This is a cafe to keep at the top of your list.
You can tell these place is focussed on its coffee. A simple minimalist fit out, with a dark grape purple fit out greet you. A couple of art pieces break up the wall and give it a unique feel.
The coffee is well done, my short mac had a brown sugar / syrup taste to it and there was no need to add any sugar. It left a nice after taste that made it a brew.
Great place to stop when you are in the area.
Bright and fresh are the two words that come to mind when you step into this cafe.
Well presented and professional, their food looks devine. I only had time for a coffee the latte looked very good and tasted nice too.
A little on the mild side, it was a great morning coffee and the milk was at the right consistency and temperature.
Another cafe that is bringing good coffee to Ascot.
This shop catches your eye as you go along Old Cleveland Road with its bright green signage.
Outside there are some simple bench seats where you can park your laptop or read the paper.
The coffee was good with a nice body and malty tone to it.
The service was good and inside the shop has some cool fixtures like a old petrol bowser that doubles as a fridge.
A great cafe for Coorparoo.
This part of Ashgrove has been home to a few cafes over the years. Sotilles is a great addition to the mix.
Great decor and design inside and out with some sporting memorabilia to compliment the warm colours.
They use Moak coffee which is from Sicily. I have tried this at another cafe, however I can say that Sotilles takes this coffee to the next level. My espresso had a great crema layer and a nice caramel after taste.
When you are in this part of town make sure you add them to your must-have coffee list.
