Called into this new café in the valley because I heard that the coffee was acceptable; and it is.
They are pulling Genovese beans and the little hole in the wall has a fun atmosphere.
The coffee isn't amazing... But it is good and a I've driven past late on a Saturday night and they have been open and full of people. The worst thing about cafés around Brisbane is that they close so early.
Thank you Flamingo for hearing my cry.
Aromas is decent for a cup of coffee and is open better hours than most of the good coffee shops...
It's an elegant little cafe inside The Regent cinemas on Queen street mall, the atmosphere is fantastic.
Don't expect amazing coffee, but if you feel like a coffee and are in Queen street mall Aromas won't disappoint. Besides, it's pobably the best coffee on the mall.
I went to Chocolate and Coffee a couple of weeks ago.
Coffee wasn\'t the best I\'ve ever had, but it was far from the worst. I think they could do much better if they were using nicer beans than the Toby Plantation label they are currently pulling.
If you\'re in Queen\'s Plaza I think you should check it out.
Coffee at first pour is quite good.
Staff are friendly, some perhaps a little too friendly.
I was a little unhappy the other day when it was suggested that I try a new bean and wasn't warned about the extreme acidity... I felt sick for a day. I wasn't very sick, just felt uneasy in the stomach for 24 hours. I did speak with some friends who are rather knowledgable with coffee and they said it must have been the roaster, that he obviously didn't know what he was doing and roasted the El Salvador bean too light. Anyway.. I let the manager know that his coffee made me feel ill, hopefully it...
Was in Mooloolaba and saw this trendy place as I was walking to the esplanade.
The young barista was seemed to be knowledgable and was eager to tell me about the recent change from Mokador to Veneziano beans.
Coffee was good and was served with a small 1cm cube of what seemed to be chocolate brownie, which was a pleasant surprise.
I would definitely recommend popping in to 'e1' if you are in Mooloolaba and what a nice coffee.
