I wanted a coffee after lunch today, and the only place close by was Frisky Goat. A friend had told me they make a terrible hot chocolate, so that was lingering in my mind. Read More → Like • Share • ReportDespite the recent bad publicity about soaring temperatures in the Square, this coffee shop is doing some great coffee. One of Australia's best barista's (in my opinion), Darwin Frame, is currently here and will make you some of the best coffee you will ever have.
Have also tasted some desserts and they're sweet as well. The savoury food looks awesome. But the important thing - the coffee, is excellent.
I stumbled upon Caffeine Culture by mistake when I was on a short break up the coast in late 2009. It was just in its infancy then, however things have started moving by the start of 2010. I have been to almost every decent coffee shop on the Sunshine Coast and I would have to say this is the best so far. Coffee – Veneziana Beans, and also some single origins on different days. I always get lattes, and the finished product is almost perfect. Great steamed milk on top, fresh beans, just excellent coffee. Read More → Like • Share • ReportDancing Bean has been around Brisbane for a few years and though I haven't been down to Roma Street for a while, the coffee is quite good. The beans do it justice. What it doesn't have in its favour is the distance to get to the Roma St one.
