Not many places seem to live up to there hype. Commonly you find places never reach your expectations simply because the people who tell you don't know what the hell they're talking about eg people who like snow pony! But market lane rewards peoples faith in bean hunters. Don't give up people although snow pony may leave you suicidal, Market Lane is like coffee heaven! The place is clean, light and God is a 28 second extraction of life elixer. Everything about Market Lane is simply heavenly!

Ah bay leaf...it encapsulates Byron bay! This tiny cafe has an incredibly relaxed approach to life, coffee, food and service but it works amazingly well. These guys don't understand the technicalities of coffee but whatever they do (like a cheap hooker) they nail it! Bay Leaf is a home not a cafe...you can spend all day saying nothing or (like my gf) talk shit for hours. For mine the best place in Byron!

Camberwell...previously known as the worst possible suburb to find a good coffee...this has finally changed. With the introduction of collective into this former barren wasteland the coffee lovers of rich suburbia cam finally get a semi without Viagra. This impressive little cafe serves it's purpose perfectly...it provides good coffee without the 30 teens from private schools painfully filling all seats outside smoking up a storm and ording only 2 coffee's. Finally camberwell had something to smile about!

This place is small but cutesy...if your into that! At first I felt that I was stepping into a homewares/stationary store but with constant unrelenting excitement from my gf I started to enjoy the place. It has a certain atmosphere that is somewhat charming and the food follows similar principles of design without major substance..so don't expect to be full when you leave however the produce is brilliantly fresh. Now the all important coffee...it is adequate and won't embarrass you if you recommend this place to friends however don't expect any coffee art.. it's also served around 65-75 degree...
