Definitely a contender for the best coffee on the North Shore. They take their coffee very seriously: they roast (and wholesale) their own coffee blends with about a dozen different blends available to purchase, Rob (the owner) has been involved in the coffee industry for 20+ years (as well as blending & roasting, he is an accredited show judge and barista trainer).
The cafe itself is tiny with all the tables outside. Food is limited to biscuits, cupcakes, etc. They sell plenty of equipment and accessories for coffee enthusiasts.

I went here for breakfast while on a weekend away in Bowral with my girlfriend after reading a review claiming this place had the best coffee in Bowral. Whilst I can't confirm that, I wouldn't be surprised: it certainly has better coffee than most cafes in Sydney. Both the coffee and breakfast were so good we went back the next day for more.

It's the attention to quality and detail that see the lads at Home Espresso make the best coffee in North Sydney. Delicious coffee, fantastic mouthfeel. Never over-extracted, burnt or bitter.
Should do a lot more in the way of their food: while they offer the standard fare of banana breads, BandE rolls, toasts, etc for brekkie; they could be doing so much more for lunch.
