This place can be rather hit and miss.... they need to employ staff who smile..... that would be a good start. I asked for a soy piccolo and got normal milk to which i nicely asked if i was maybe misheard ... the girl pretty much growled at me and said IT IS SOY... its BONSOY so yeah... ummm hun bonsoy tastes like soy beans .... this tasted like cow smells.... and im not stupid i cant drink normal milk i don't do it for a fashion statement. Anyway i got a replacement which was def soy and maybe some spit added but hey whatever (this one coagulated like soy does with coffee unlike the one befor...

Went this last thursday with my Mom after i read a little write up in B Mag. Peter and Penny are amazing and lovely :) Great to talk to and dont worry guys i dont think the write up made you guys sound pretentious at all because you arent. I had a gorgeous cold drip coffee and Mom had an expertly prepared Syphon coffee. We also have the gorgeous avo mash on toast yummmmmmmmmmm and i had a ristretto on the Dandelion Blend which was just beautiful. I LOVVEEE the lay out and equipment not to mention the passion of the owners :) Thanks guys will def be back.

yeah i remember years ago when this used to be good but honestly last 4 times i ever went were the worst coffees and service i have ever had. Merlo should revoke their coffee from these guys.... yuck... someone needs to buy the place and save it..
