Accidentally found this gem while looking for local breakie. Needless to say this brightened up my day! 18 grams is what the weight of a single shot of espresso needs to make a proper shot. It is 18 Grams that I think is in the top 3 HK artisinal coffee scene. The macchiato was superb, great floral to fruity espresso shot topped with a shot of milky foam. The cap's were gorgeous as well as perfectly done, rich milk complementing a gorgeous shot. I'll definitely going tom!

The star of the show IS the coffee, cappuccino's are served with sugar'd cocoa powder, great textured milk with a rich espresso shot makes the perfect cup. My favorite was the piccolo latte where you get a fuller coffee experience. It's a great find and it stands on it's own against any good coffee places.

You can still see old warehouses scattered along the river front. Robertson Quay is being refreshed with cafe\'s and shops. Weekday crowds are mostly mummies and toddlers, post the 7am rush of office warriors seeking their caffeine fix. Weekend crowds are diverse and eclectic.
They all come for wonderfully made espresso\'s and cappuccino\'s. Breakie\'s are surprisingly good, unfussy and better than some uppity cafe\'s...
Stylish industrial loft ambiance framed by white couches and chairs. Had a double machiatto. Found the extraction too long and the milk too thin for my taste. They seem to roast their house blend darker than usual. Had nice hints of floral bouquet but over powered by the dark roasting. Affogatto had an after taste to it. Were they using frozen yoghurt ?
I may go back to give it another shot but for now it\'s back to Fuel and CoCo.
forty hands is a week old cafe located in one of Singapore\'s oldest \'hoods. Surrounded by post ww2 art deco low rise apartments, 40hands sports the second Synesso machine in town. The cafe is small, Cosy, slightly spartan and eclectically furnished. The house blend ristretto was bright, creamy with a hint of sweetness in the finish. The machiatto was superb, perhaps one of the 3 best I\'ve had, ever! They used PNG beans featured for the week. 40hands is a great find in the quiet coffee revolution in Singapore. A must for coffee lovers!

The weary traveller will be surprised by the sheer size of the cafe. It gies down 3 stories down, providing a respite from the heat, dusty road and the chaotic traffic jam that is so common to Ubud these days.
Had a machiatto ( and a superb coconut ice cream ). It\'s was a great cup. Perfectly extracted espresso capped with a well textured shot of milk. They make the effort, a great break from all the super automatic machines on this island. Think of CL's coffee as c...
