The place is awesome. A small, leafy pedestrian only area, a spot as idyllic and quiet as anyone could wish for. The potential of this place is huge. Unfortunately that's where the good news end. The coffee is thin and watery. Then again... This is Munich. I haven't found a drinkable coffee so far. Maybe the standards are different from Melbourne. Way different.

Deep and long flavours, smooth, pleasant finish. Hand made pastry. I tried the lemon meringue tart. And loved it. I'll come back anytime.

Tucked away from all the madness of Martin Place and MLC you get the real thing: regularly changing single origins, poured with passion and skill and served with a smile even at a busy morning.
And that proves my theory: Campos beans are unlike Toby's or Vittoria where even I can extract a decent cup - they're difficult to handle. If you don't know what you're doing it's most certainly undrinkable but if you do... Oh yeahh... One hell ...
When I get off the ferry, this is my first "pit stop" on my way to work. Their coffee is of a consistently decent if not good quality and the girls always friendly and unobtrusive.
I recommend going there early in the morning while King Street Wharf is still empty. The view from their lounge seats outside towards the water is just beautiful.
Beautiful froth and picture, the coffee was the right temperature and at 10.00 I didn\'t even have to wait that long. Sadly the coffee was a bit thin, but I will have another cup anytime.
The atmosphere inside is great, buzzing and busy, don\'t try to sit outside though - King St with it\'s traffic can spoil the best coffee.
