Went here again recently and it really is a great little place. Had two good piccolos and the services is always very good. I'm not sure about the claims by some of the reviewers regarding it 'being the best on the Sunshine Coast' - I think some of the speciality roasters might take that crown - but it is good all the same.
This place is really good. I has 3 piccolos which were all absolutely superb. Was using one of Tim Adams' blends that was incredibly smooth, but still packed a little punch (not sure about it on a more milk-based beverage). I love the fit out, and also you can hire a desk for a few hours and work from there (which is a great concept) - over the couple of hours that I was there, it was great to see at least three people doing this.
The barista is superb. Friendly, approachable, and humble. I can't wait to see what happens here once their La Marzocco GB5 arrives!
This place is definitely an institution! I'm a bit over the predictably trendy vibe, but this place is an original... Anyway, the coffee was really great. Not the best I had in Melbourne on a quick trip, but really good. I have to say though that I was really disappointed with the service. It took ages to be served, and then a long time for the coffee to come out. I guess the price for popularity.
On a quick trip to Melbourne, I was really keen to check out Proud Mary. In a word: fabulous. Great coffee, atmosphere, and food. In fact, after visiting a few of the best, Proud Mary was definitely my favourite. The piccolo I had was just superb.

In terms of the best on coast - no way. There's at least three roasters within a reasonable distance (two within 10 minutes) that are simply exceptional if you are looking for speciality coffee excellence.
This is a great new addition to Brisbane. I had a Piccolo that was really fantastic and perfectly presented. I was also really impressed with how down to earth the barista was, and the great relaxed atmosphere of the place.
A relatively new roaster in Stockholm, this cafe is a wonderful little visit. I love the decor and the coffee being pulled from the Synesso is very good. My Short Macchiato was a little lacking in flavour, but still very good.
