Strong, bitter espresso with a fierce pick-up the moment you breathe it in. The place has an excellent vibe. No wifi encourages you to go with a book, or attend with a friend. Great pastries on offer, too.

Dropped in while passing through SF. Impressive fit out and loved the seats out in the street where we sat and drank coffee while watching the world go by. One boar head is missing as is one of the Kies machines, but they have a Strada on the 2'nd line. This place is hopping with customers lined 10-20 deep most all day long. The machines are well used and the barista's are all very well trained.

The coffee itself is always good. For being a relatively young roaster, their consistency of roast is pretty awesome. Staff up front are generally friendly. Drinks are pretty inconsitent. I wish they would tighten up technique and extraction up front so they would have better drinks.

Pretty rad spot. There's nothing like drinking a quality espresso while sitting at the back wooden bar watching them roast. Cool atmosphere of heavy wood, coffee plants, art.
