  Made another trip to Grounded, mainly to buy beans on a holiday sunday when many of my usual haunts are (frustratingly) closed. Turns out they only sell beans (Monmouth) by order. But while I was there I took another look around.

  Everytime I’ve been there, I’ve never been disappointed.. Smiley lovely girls welcome you in this peaceful little coffe shop to serve you efficiently some delicious hot drinks (try the chai latte.. amazingly frothy..)   One of the worst coffee experiences ever today. I never write bad reviews for restaurants etc... - this is my first. The main problem was the poor customer service, but the coffee itself left a bad taste in my mouth - extremely bitter.

  Made a second visit to Grounded, to get a better feel for whether it's any good. Its minimal design hints that there are higher aspirations at work than just your friendly neighborhood cafe.
