I think this place is really quite special. Synesso, anfim, monmouth beans are all great foundations. But friendly service, wonderful atmosphere, and of course, amazing coffee make this place complete. Situated only metres from Flat White, this place has it\'s own niche and is far more relaxing.... Foxcroft & Ginger is a new edition to Soho’s growing coffee scene. Although set only a few doors down from Flat White this little store manages to forge its own identity as it is more of a Deli than a specialty coffee bar. I was actually walking past and popped in just out of curiosity.
Coffee good altho their Flat White is served in a china cup . The cafe layout not ideal and could be so much better. Staff very average . Prefer Flat White cafe a few doors down - more buzz and atmosphere and staff welcoming !
I've been around this place so many times and always passed it in favour of Flat White.... Recently, as Flat White staff became more arrogant and less caring, I decided to give this place a chance and it was worth it!
Currently they are using Climpson & Sons beans, you can find them... Read more
2 Flat Whites
Rustic and trendy atmosphere with eclectic and yet comfortable furnishings. Great variety of freshly made savouries and additional deli/pantry items available for sale. Service is quite quick and friendly. The coffee blend I had when I visited (September 2010) was incredibly 'earthy' in... Read more
Synesso + Anfim + Monmouth Beans = great expectations
Foxcroft & Ginger has opened its doors a stones throw from London's award winning cafe Flat White, a brave move, but one that might pay off for them.
With plenty of space over 2 levels, and a good selection of... Read more
Foxcroft and Ginger is good. Funky, modern but with exposed brick and rough hewn timber. Food a little limited to pastries and bread based offerings, but inventive offerings like tolouse sausages and onion jam on crusty brown roll or eggs benadict inside an English Muffin or a triple stack of... Quite good coffee on a soho street just down from flat white. They do some tasty looking cooked food and cakes too.
Great sandwiches but arrogant staff who take ages to make anything and seem as if they couldn't careless. Doesn't matter what the coffee or food is like if it isn't served with a smile.
Undrinkable acidic boiling hot rubbish in a cup served by rude arrogant staff. They use Monmouth beans but on my visit had no idea what to do with them. One of the few places I have ever asked for money back. Avoid!
Very good, better then fernandez and wells.love it
I think a few people have been a little harsh on this place. It suffers from being two doors down from flat white and having Monmouth, Milk, and Nude all 5 minutes walking distance, but the coffee is not bad and the food is fantastic. Its got a great DIY/Punk feel to it too. If you like the idea of... Read more
Great coffee. Cool atmosphere.
Live the funky furniture and tasty food. Shame the coffee is awful
I have been to Foxcroft and Ginger on three separate occasions. During the week early in the morning, late in the afternoon and lunch time at the weekend. The coffee has been consistent on each visit. I have a short black and a flat white, both are served in very cool looking cups! I like that they... Read more
They were busy and there was a bit of a queue which gave me the opportunity to examine all the tasty treats on offer. All looking rather scrumptious! A reason to return I thought.
I had my usual, a flat white which arrived in a dainty china cup. Eclectic music playing and a relaxed buzzy... Read more
Goodness...all those who gives low review needs their IQ examined! If you need pampering...get your wallet out.The profit from a £2.30 cup of coffee does not even pay for the rent ...Space is a premium in that part of town.
Personally the 'Monmouth' coffee is great. The price is more than... Read more
A friend of mine had suggested I pay Foxcroft & Ginger a visit, and I’m so glad she did, as it's now my new favourite! The interior is a mix of industrial, old and new with so many quirky features! I ordered a flat white, which was served in a beautiful old china cup on a cute mismatched ... Read more
I have finally found a gap in my diary to visit Foxcroft & Ginger, a place I have read about for some time. To my great joy I quickly realized they use Monmouth's London roasted beans. Always a good start. F&G looks like a fairly small place and it’s easy to just walk past it if you don’t know... Read more
