I liked the fitout and atmosphere at this place. It had a nice relaxed feel about it and although a lot of people were there, it didn't come across as being too busy.
The service was good.
My cappuccino wasn't too bad at all. It could have been a little stronger, but... Read more

This is such a great café! Set in a long but narrow old building with plenty of charm amongst its white washed walls. It’s a really simple & charming interior, but its real strength is in the coffee. I ordered a Flat white which was made promptly on the beautiful Synesso machine. They use... Read more
Great atmosphere, it seems like it is always full with happy people...
Their coffee is very good, my Flat White was rich, creamy and strong adn was marked with a nice latte art.
They are using Has Bean coffee which is very good and can be found in many places around the city... Read more

Love this spot , one of my favourite in London . Great space , good light . The food always looks inviting and the coffee very nice. Great spot to people watch esp pre or post lunch rush when you can get a free seat !
Arrogant rude staff, very expensive food but coffee that ranges from good to great depending on the barista. It really can be a lottery but the cafe itself is quite inviting and with newspapers always available I do return every now and then.
Great space. I sat outside on a stool where they have widened their window sill into a narrow bench.
Ordered a flat white and a latte. They were both well executed, but not exceptional. About halfway through they had lost a lot of their flavour and become a bit of a boring white... Read more
Small cafe, well equipped with all the right gear. I'd prefer smaller cups than the standard 220mls cups but ordered cappuccino came with well textured milk at the hot end of Ok. Taste was well rounded but a little diluted by the volume of milk. Portuguese tarts are excellent
We made a trip to Fernandez & Wells as part of a coffee crawl around London, looking for something a little bit different to the norm.
Don't be fooled by the sparse white walls and lack of background music, the food and coffee was excellent.
Well prepared drinks were... Read more
Have returned quite a few times now - I like the Beak St cafe but prefer the new(ish) one at Somerset House. I find that the flavour of the coffee really comes through strongly, more so than most other places, which is great as I really like their espresso blend. The barista mentioned that they... Read more
4 Flat Whites, 2 Lattes
Great food. Coffee is quite drinkable. Newspapers always available. Decent.
After getting the hours of operations wrong, I returned again for a second time. Tried out their Picolo which is more like a machiatto. Brilliant! Warm toasted chocolate and a slight hint of toasted hazelnuts came to mind. The Stumpy was more like the Picolo I\'m used too and that delivered as well!
Another Soho gem consistent coffee nice staff foods lovely but a tad pricey a few tunes would be good but it's all about the coffee isn't it? Giles
Amazing food, twice in a row now I have had really nice sandwiches, but the flat white was abit tasteless and the staff weren't very friendly. A great spot to stop off for lunch, but not much more.
This café is beautifully done however the staff have serious attitude problems. Coffee was great food was amazing, please sort out your staff it spoils an otherwise great café.
NIce little cafe with friendly staff. Always busy with local creatives quietly breaking deals. Love the sandwichs, although almost as pricey as a cooked lunch. The custard tart was the perfect sugar rush to go with my black filter.

Great location and very nicely arranged space, with lots of natural light. The seats by the window are ideal for watching the world go by over a cup of coffee. Speaking of the coffee here, it tends to be variable in quality. I've had a few near perfect cups of their 'stumpy' drink here. But there... Read more
All the baristas are not very nice and the price is crazy for a very normal things
A simple, Spanish cafe serving to my mind the best coffee in London. Dark, luxurious, creamy lattes with just the right ratio of milk to coffee and served with great panache. This is how all coffee should be made. Also expect delicious ciabattas and delectable sweet bites from cakes to custard tarts.
Good but not incredible coffee - ordered a piccolo and got a macchiato... thought that was a bit strange. My partners latte looked good. Nice little space in Soho - gave me a feeling that I could run my own coffee shop. Half full when we went in, mostly with people relaxing reading the paper after... Read more
