  Nice atmosphere, good mellow music, great counter food and friendly staff. Unfortunately the poached eggs were cold. The flat white and long black were average at best.

  All of a sudden Putney has crammed in a few decent cafe's - Tried and True among them. Food menu was still in it's infancy, but tue coffee was outstanding. Decor was stripped back indicating it's all about the coffee.

  At first I was doubtful, but after my first flat white I didn't have any choice but to get excited. Tried and True sure know their coffee. The relaxed staff and stylish decor makes a welcome addition to the Putney neighbourhood. Can't wait to go back!

  Really excellent square mile coffee, well executed. Cool surroundings and background music. The owner is a laid back welcoming kiwi, you can tell that he cares that the place is "just so". The cakes are delicious. A great addition to the neighbourhood. Making it my regular.

  First of all the coffee tastes and looks superb! ..the staff are knowledgable, enthusiastic and hospitable. I believe (not 100% sure) that the furniture is made from sustainably sourced wood which means there is more to this place than just beans and smiles. Great addition to London's growing cafe scene!
