Great location for those going to the theatre or one of the museums in the area. Their coffee is well made using Square Mile beans, nice Machine and competent Barista.
By the way they have a good selection of tea and take the same serious approach in making great cup of tea (including... Read more
I like the look of this place a lot. It would be even better with a variety of books to read. Back on point: good cappuccino. A little light on the froth. Said froth was fairly good. The coffee itself was also nice - strong and smooth.

Busy and buzzing all day, this cafe has a lovely feel to it. Had a good latte.

How many staff does it take to make a coffee? Three to ignore you, one to glare at you and turn away and finally one to make you a coffee. It could be argued the staff were busy, but there was only one other table of two in the place!
It must be said the coffee was good and the room very... Read more
Knocked in here on a brief visit to London and after coming with a firm recommendation I was not disappointed.
Enjoyed a Square Mile Single Origin on Aeropress which was a touch earthy yet carried lovely notes of stone fruits and toffee caramel. Had an excellent espresso pulled on a... Read more

This is a quality cafe, great feel, great atmosphere. There is also so much attention to the coffee served. Refractometers on your filter before they serve your coffee, making sure it is served as it is supposed to be. It was time consuming, but they can be forgiven if the quality continues to be there

Great place near the national portrait gallery. I had a coffee which wS terrific. They also seem to have a good but small wine list and a bit of food. They also sell DVDs and CDs.
Coffee, Wine, Music. What else do you want.
Great interior space. Jazz nights. Great staff.
It can get a little crowded because of the central venue, right near trafalgar square.
Coffee was medium strength with a slight bitterness but honey overtones.
They also have... Read more

Excellent Flat White. Great atmosphere and the employees very good.
Notes takes elements of what I love in design: airy space, great lighting, hints of timeless modernity but also beauty of age - mirrors, rust, school chairs. The atmosphere is nice. Not too "sit here all day tap tap tap" - just a nice place. Coffee is phenomenal. Almost always perfect. Can't say... Read more
Very good. Knowledgable staff who know the coffee they sell well (mostly Square Mile single origins and espresso when I visited but there are others). They experiment with brewing methods before serving in order to get the best out of the coffees. Compared to other places in the area it\'s spacious... Read more
The LM Strada is a eye-catcher and a top-end machine, but unfortunately the espresso I had was a bit dull and flat. I am pleasantly surprised by the range of tea available though, some of which I recognise as top quality tea. My wife tried the Bi Luo Chun and liked it.

Though the piccolo I had here was the most expensive I have ever bought, I must admit that it was probably the nicest I had ever had.
I went in on a weekday early lunch, and there were still a fair few tables, which was nice. Service was good. Coffee was impeccable - a really... Read more

Nice space. A bit pricey (but then it is central London). Flat white was a little too flat for my liking, and a little on the cold side (feels like most London coffees are never warm enough though). Def worth a look though.
Excellent coffee served by very friendly and attentive staff in a relaxing environment. Snacks and cakes looked amazing too, including a tomato and basil muffin!

Excellent range in coffee and brewing methods, very friendly staff and a well designed interior. Well done.
