  Brilliant cafe. Love the atmosphere. I especially liked the very private booth that is semi-hidden. It's a nice feature. Nice staff. Very friendly and helpful. They clearly know their stuff. My cappuccino was good. Not enough froth, but the coffee was great. Rich and smooth.

  When I used to work in Greville St, the entire area between Chancery Lane Tube and Farringdon Tube Stations (Hatton Garden, Leather Lane, Greville St etc) used to be a coffee wasteland, although I could (and frequently did) visit any number of good pubs.

  Well crafted coffee and exiting atmosphere that fits the cafe's social aspirations. With such friendly and knowledgable staff it's a perfect place to hang out. The place is very specious and nicely designed, they provide free WIFI, great pastries and of course brilliant coffee.

  A good spot for that casual work catch-up coffee.
  
  Absolutely love it being on Leather Lane so I can have a pre lunch coffee while I stand in line or a burrito at Daddy Donkey and ten come back for more afterwards. Read more

  Delicious coffee and they had just finished brewing a filter so after a superb flat white I had a second cup. The cafe itself is really nice and food totally complimentary to some perfectly made coffee.

  The venue was great, staff very friendly and helpful. By the look of the clientele and the coffee this place probably does good coffee most of the time. Unfortunately my Cappa was watery, but the froth art was impressive. Will have to try again.

  Nestled in Leather Lane is this fantastic coffee shop. I was taken there with a friend who had no idea of the reputation of the place (or of Prufrock up the road). He was just a regular who liked good coffee.

  Really enjoyed Dept of Coffee from the first visit... great knowledge and willingness to talk about the coffee origins and flavours. To be honest the thing I enjoy most is the NZ accent.   I've been here twice now - great coffee - deep rich - no hint of bitterness - good milk. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice snacks. A real find.
