I admit I like this place. Nice decor and a good vibe. However the coffee is sometimes hit or miss, depending on who does your coffee. Please emphasize more on your coffee making though, I've had lattes that had under extracted shots, even though the latte art was acceptable. Cheers
Had a skinny cap done on their " ...of the moment" blend (sorry can't quite seem to remember the name). The drink was average. The milk was stretched nicely but for a cafe touted on its latte art, a heart is not enough for me when all the other specialty coffee cafes popping up can manage a... Read more
1 Skinny Cappuccino
I've had a cappuccino on their blend, which consists of a Brazil, the Yirgacheffe and the Harrar. The milk was nicely foamed and thick, just as a cap should be. But the coffee taste was bitter, and lacks sweetness. The latte art, of a big blotch of foam that looks vaguely like a heart, was... Read more

maison ikkoku, using coffee blend that I'm familiar with over the period of one year. what I'm very unhappy about today was when my cup of espresso I ordered was slam on the top of the counter fridge. With a long face robotic staffs and under-dose shots which turn out watery and sourish. The... Read more

Maison Ikkoku reminds us of a Japanese manga back in the 1990s. It was one of our favourite manga that time. So when we heard about Maison Ikkoku cafe cum boutique opens at Kandahar Street, immediately we have to... Read more
1 Cold Drip, 1 Pour Over
The latte I had here was quite disappointing. The coffee was bland, and I tasted more of the negative flavours like bitterness and sourness than anything else. Milk was steamed way too hot. Latte art was only half decent for baristas trained by Japanese latte art champions. The baristas there don't... Read more

Then-current house blend was a mix of Brazilian Fazenda Santa Alina, Ethiopian Harrar and Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. Smooth, nice foam but the coffee seemed to be overwhelmed by the milk (it was a double shot). But the blend will change every once in a while and they seemed open to clients customising... Read more
1 Latte, 1 Flat White
Apparently I think it is the best cafe I have ever had in Singapore. A great coffee, food dining, customer service experiences. The professional baristas here are simply amazing with their latte art. Their pumpkin cheese cake is simply amazing. I love their MUSUBI. Yeah!
I always believe "If it Fits, It Fits! and Maison Ikkoku Rock My Boat. Their Cappuccino is one of my favourite. If I need some refreshments, I'll go for Ice Mocha and seal it off with their Amazing Amazing Banana Cake. Give their coffee a shot! Who knows maybe their coffee will give you a kick?..
You will think you find a gem of a coffee place at the least expected place until you taste their coffee. Nice setup, branded equipments, looks like a bunch of well trained barista/s and then you have what they claimed, their in house blend roasted by themselves. With milk, ok. W/o milk, not... Read more
I come by this little cafe quite a fair bit since their opening as I work nearby. I do find the coffee here generally good, but rather inconsistent. I think it really depends on the barista behind the counter. No names mentioned here, but there are a couple of rather good chaps that can pull some... Read more
