Glowworm who recently won the Rocket Giotto thanks to Rocket, emailed in some great photos of him unpacking his new machine. There are some great snaps here and he obviously loves his machine!
In his email he also wrote:
A special thanks to Beanhunter for running such an awesome competition and website. And a greater thanks for having this amazing espresso machine as the prize.
Also thanks to Rocket for supplying the Giotto and also to Espresso Company Australia who made it all happen! After winning the Giotto i was lucky enough to talk to the guys at Espresso Company Australia who refereed me to their website which has a great set of videos that gives great tips on how to make the perfect espresso.
The Giotto is awesome!!! i've had to create a special calendar just so that i can book in all my mates to come over and try a coffee. It's become the feature item when i give people a tour of our house. I have become a crazed caffeinated freak buzzing about Melbourne looking for my favourite beans to take home and try out.
So far i've run Atomica (fairtrade), Jasper (Nicaragua Matagalpa blend) and Veneziano Estate blend through the machine and been enjoying the different types of blends.
Again thanks to Beanhunter! I'll be on the prowl to win the Barista kit in the new competition they are running.. so look out! Make sure you all get reviewing!!
Cheers,
Glowworm

Man I so badly want one of those machines! Well done Glowworm. I am loving the hug a Giotto photo, I wish my machine was that hugable! Great photos.

aah! so lucky!
good to see and here that it is being used it to it's full potential :)
Great to see another person in love with their Giotto. I have one at home which I adore and recently bought one for my office from Rio Coffee in Stepney (though both are branded ECM rather Rocket). Strangely the office machine is not set up as well as the one at home and the guys at Rio seem happy to say the new machine is as it should be. Anyone know a good mechanic so I can get the new machine sorted?
