Ben drew a mean espresso this afternoon, was happy to have a chat and confirmed in my mind that the mediocre coffee I had in their sister cafe (Ben Espresso) was an anomaly. If you're up this end of town, Little B know's what's going on. Great coffee, great service, great no-bollocks atmosphere.

What are you doing wasting your time reading this. Get there. They are coffee geeks through and through and it is a great place to learn up about some amazing coffees.
Coffee is consistently good if not great. Love the setup, apparently lots of the interior is done by the owner, ben, himself. LM linear MP, blend/SO available. Syphon is their stronghold. Also love the small bites that are done in site. Really funky little spot, one my fab.
Hands down the best coffee in all of upper queen St/newton. Matt, the resident Barista who recently placed 3rd at the northern Barista comps makes a fantastic brew. When i meet any one up town this is where we go, the sister cafe of Ben on fort st. both owned and operated by Barista Empire coffee apparently, slower passed here so perfect spot for a good filter coffee or two

there is a lot of "old school' single espresso being served around newton. little b stands out with its paddle linea and the only place doing filter
