  Initial Café is a pretty good find if you’re in Kowloon. It has a very western bourgeoisie feel to the place being part café and part clothing shop. When I went it wasn’t very busy and I took a seat on a retro 1950s Eames inspired couch and was quickly served.

  This is an awesome spot . I tried several cafes during my 4 days in Hong Kong and this was by far the best . The cafe setting is very trendy and comfortable , the food delicious and the coffee fantastic . Both cappuccino and latte excellent , and latte art perfect. There is also free WiFi .

  I liked the place and liked its openness to the street - good for people-watching. My double espresso (called 'dippio' here!) was well-extracted, and in a first for an HK cafe that I've seen, they automatically brought a glass of water too, Italian-style.

  Cafe/shop is well decorated in relaxing atmosphere. I visited there in a Sunday morning, so may enjoy more peaceful around. Ordered a latte. Aroma of the coffee is so so, but the foam and the art is great. Staff are friendly. :-)

  Initial cafe has tasty coffee and nice food. The atmosphere is great! ordering the lunch food was a little disappointing as it was slow to arrive and had a little too much MSG for my liking.
