Great coffee
I'd been here some months ago and been disappointed by my coffee, despite the huge range of coffee equipment at their disposal.
This time I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed. My double espresso was well-extracted, and with robust mouthfeel. My companion's latte looked and apparently... Read more
I personally hate the name but best coffee I had in Hong Kong this time around. Nutty flavoured beans and extremely well-made. The place is cool if compact, and the area it's in is real-deal Hong Kong I suspect.
Nice latte art and well textured milk. I am not sure what milk used here or the coffee blend, just a bit too bitter for me.
Barista Jam is a relatively new entrant into Hong Kong's growing specialty coffee scene. Like many of his peer's, William has transported his experience in Australia to the 'Kong with great effect. What perhaps differentiates Barista Jam from those others is a). the space b). the style of the... Read more
Barista jam is a nice concrete Soho/Mission District style coffee place. Tucked in a alley in Sheung Wan, it serves good coffee in a quiet setting. There is a upstairs area. and a common table and some smaller tables downstairs.
The Barristers are not the most friendly. But I... Read more

Top notes for the coffee. Groovy little place.
Distinctly average coffee. No need for costly machines if you don\'t have the skill to use them.
Coffee was not memorable, bitter, lacked depth of flavour.
Tried the steak and mushroom sandwich as well, never seen steak thinner than Canadian bacon? You will here, you... Read more
Decided to come here because my friend saids they have good comments. The service is slow, we waited for our coffee & sandwich at least 30 minutes. And the coffee was...not so great. I expect it can give me more, I will probably refuse to come again.
Great coffee. Two Caramel Lattes for HK$33 each. Great flavours. Great texture of the coffee. Awesome expresso hit. And such a peaceful nice quiet and comfortable atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon... Even better than last time I came! Will be back again, for sure!
One of the best coffees in HK , espresso always tri-tone with 'tiger' bits with strong palette presence. Glass always perfectly pre-warmed and never over-pulled. Milk for the other versions is never cooked. Interesting varieties of beans, and great for takeaway - all vacuum-sealed by the crew there... Read more
This place trumps Coco Espresso in terms of ambiance (there's a minimalist/industrial vibe going on), only because I was looking for a place to linger for a few hours. There is one table for two, some bar seating, and picnic-table style seating for up to six persons if you don't mind giving up... Read more
I had a super espresso in Barista Jam. I think William did a good job !! Well Done !!
The only problem this cafe has is lack of space and if you have a small group your lucky to get use of a table.
However the coffee I order, a FlatWhite is truely excellent. Sometimes it's so smooth it tastes like butter. I cannot comment on any other coffees.
As for... Read more
