Best coffee in Vancouver (which, honestly, isn't saying much -- this isn't at a Portland/SF level and nowhere near Sydney).

Had a flat white which was good and strong. Beans a bit one dimensional in flavour, which was the main issue.

What a surprise Revolver was. Having not had a proper coffee in a long time, Revolver was a pleasant surprise. I ordered a sampler and giggled to myself. I was in heaven.

Amazing place. Superb coffee, full of locals (always a good sign), solid wifi, clever artwork (you'll have to see that for yourself), friendly staff, and the annex next door to the main shop is a must do pilgrimage for all coffee lovers (massive array of coffee paraphenalia). I'll definitely be returning!

This was my favourite of the coffee shops I visited while in Vancouver.
It has a very funky fit-out, an interesting clientele, and their baristas certainly know what they're doing.
As a bonus, the gluten-free chocolate cake I had with my doppio was excellent - just the thing for a sugar hit!

Truly one of the best cups I've ever had. Their kone checked pour overs are absolutely fantastic. They do flights, the espresso drinks are fantastic also. Lots of options for beans and they're all fresh.

Great coffee with a variety of single origins to choose from. Very cool room and personable staff who know their coffee. They also make flat whites!

After trying Artigiano, Revolver was fabulous. Coffees were professionally prepared and tasted great. But be aware, in Vancouver lattes are huge and if you want what Aussies would call a regular latte, you need to ask for a cappuccino. Unlike most cafés and restaurants in Vancouver, Revolver... After Portland I've got to say Vancouver coffee scene surprisingly lags behind, but not by far. This place is one of the best and they make a fw which pleases me. Solid coffee, slightly bitter but smooth and worth 3 km run in the rain. Sadly not open Sunday but timber train round corner is.

Awesome team of coffee geeks, who pulled off one heck of a magic and flat white! Love the cafe and the idea of having your brew three different ways in a Brew Flight! First superb coffee since leaving Melbourne :)

Quaint, small, packed and filled with expert barista's who love beans, coffee, and every type of brewing method and extraction. Not sure how you would like to try your espresso, ask for the Duetto, and off menu item where you get 2 drinks, a straight smaller shot of espresso, and a second... Read more

This place has all the right gear, products, atmosphere, staff with sufficient angular hair, red indie lipstick, guys with beards and plaid shirts. Front line customer service needs work, but barista was very nice. My largest concern was my 25 second brew Aeropress. Not great.

Awesome coffee, second only to Timbertrain. There seemed to be a lot of unnecessary theatrics going on behind the bar. Just let the good coffee speak for itself. Seating is better than Timbertrain.

This was one of the first places I planned to check out once I got into Vancouver. A simple search for the top coffees in Vancouver will list this place at the top to visit and for good reasons that were clear once I walked into the place. Not hard to find and easy to get to. I walked into Revolver... Read more

Among the best in Vancouver and definitely my pick for best manual brew in town. Of the countless pour overs I have had here all have been good at least and sublime (maybe even transcendent) at best - the majority of this can be attributed to great craftsmanship and a part to their use of the Able... Disclaimer:There is something about Vancouver coffee shops and the city's coffee culture that just draws you in. Revolver is perched halfway up a side-street of Gastown. From the outside she is an unassuming school-teacher, but walking through the door I saw a row of chemex pots that draw you... Read more

Great atmosphere and coffee to match. Several different single origin varieties offered, all brewed by Barista's who are pretty damn good at their job. They really do put in an effort to give you a great coffee. Revolver is easy to find in Gastown, and well worth the effort to stroll over from... Read more

Probably a "must go" for coffee geeks when in Vancouver. Staff members are friendly and love to talk about coffee. The space is nice, however a bit small and limited in seating for individuals or pairs. Good espressos. Drinks are not too rushed and done with more care than other places I have... Read more

Great coffee... Best I've had since I left sydney. Service isn't great... No call out when coffee is ready, just sits on the side getting cold until you realise it's yours..
