This is a very friendly and relaxed little cafe which does a good job.

The food menu is a little limited but there are some good finds in there. The coffee is pretty consistent and above average.

I tend to drop in here for a very good coffee rather than line up and wait in other parts of Kingston.

Oh and I like the bike shop part too, always lots of nice gear to look at.

Pretty groovy cafe with a bike shop at the rear. After Cadel's efforts in France, this place will be heaving. Coffee was OK, but it tasted a touch stale/old. It was ground to order so maybe it was just the beans. I'll try it again next time I'm over that way but it doesn't come close to Kingston Grind or Bitter Sweet (almost next door to each other).

I have just been to Velo Republic and had a flat white and a raspberry muffin. Could not drink the coffee as it was bitter and sour - very bad!
Muffin was also bad, as was dry and had been refrigerated.
Never wasting my money there again.

Every time I go, I'm never disappointed with the service or the coffee. Fiancée loves chai lathes and she rates them as one of the best in Canberra.

This is a great new cafe in Kingston, with coffee made by a man who loves his coffee, and a great atmosphere, complimented by the cool vintage racing bike in the window - Velo Republic - getit!
