Feels like stepping into another, hidden, secret and exotic world. Superb service and the best coffee I've had for ages in Melbourne. A wonderful experience indeed. Can hardly wait to go back at night and experience their tapas menu. The roaring log fire added warmth and charm on a typical rainy Melbourne day too. Loved it!!

I now know where to go when I am in port Melbourne and in need of a good cup of coffee and to relax while reading the paper, great job guys keep it up.
your breakfast was also great.
I'd walked past this place a number of times and thought it looked cute. So when my boyfriend and I were in Bay street this morning we thought we'd stop in for breakfast. Upon entering, we noticed there were a LOT of staff working there. I spotted 4 behind the counter and 3 on the floor. Only a handful of customers seated at tables. So we thought we'd be attended to pretty promptly. WRONG. One waitress looked at us and walked back and forth passing us 3 times while we stood there looking around. Another came from behind the counter..... not to greet and seat us, but to say "Excuse me"...

The staff are very happy and chatty and are obviously good at the hospitality game. Unfortunately the coffee was a bit ordinary - too milky and not strong enough.
I am going to give it a second chance just because the people were so friendly. Will report back.
