Where did they go? Practically my local, ToBL was awesome. Great coffee & sandwiches, very cute little cafe. They closed a while back and promised to open at a new site a few months later, but nothing's materialised. Such a shame.
Taste of Bitter Love is a small, perfectly formed, finely proportioned cafe that served equally perfect coffee - time and time again. The service is friendly, familiar, easy. Patrons are made to feel part of the family. The coffee never fails to impress... there's a lot of love that goes into every cup.
The desserts are stupendous especially the Apricot Crumble with the creamy filling. New espressos are liberally made for regulars (and not so regulars to try). I have taken people from all over the world and it's on of the London afternoons that they always remember. More love than bitter -...
