Had a super smooth and strong latte here, another boutique coffee house tucked away in London. Tried syphon coffee for the first time here also, an experience in itself to witness. Plenty of seating, powerpoints of your laptop, friendly staff. Get in,
1 Syphon
This place has a terrific vibe, in particular the way they present their food at the front of the store - which says "Eat me !, Try me !"
The food and coffee here are excellent and service is right on the money.
It's a really comfortable place to enjoy a great cup of coffee (or two).
1 Short Macchiato
This will become my new regular haunt when in the west end! The barista was very knowledgable and friendly and happy to talk through the range of single origin coffees they offer and the best grind and brew method for each. Offered me a palate cleanser after finishing a tasty sandwich before serving the coffee which was a nice touch and an example of how seriously they take coffee tasting here. Also it\'s a great place to hang out being spacious and having interesting art on the walls. I\'ll be back and I know it will be soon!

Tapped packed is situated right in the heart of Fitzrovia in Londons W1 district. I was staying around the corner and ventured out after arriving from Tokyo feeling very jet lagged. This place is a real little gem of a cafe. It has a really nice organic artesian feel to the place with recycled timber bench and wooden stools and tables. I also love the eclectic mix of pendant lighting used and gallery style art on the walls.
The equipment is first rate being a massive 4 group nuova simonelli machine, a Robur E grinder and an Anfim grinder. They are using a mix of Climpson and Sons, Union and S...
I love the long zinc clad counter down one side and the customers alcantara bench with built in side tables facing it.
The wide rough floorboards draw your eye into the cafe along their length.
I love the huge amount of light pouring through the shopfront glass.
I want the softly curved wooden stools for my home.
I smiled at the coffee menu printed in crisp fine font on an elaborately framed mirror.
I\'m coming back to try the bircher muesli that was sitting in bath of crushed ice in a square porcelain sink by the window.

Sourcing coffee from Climpson and Sons, Square Mile Coffee Roasters and Union Hand Roasted, the team are keen to ensure every coffee served represents the roaster and farmer in the best possible light.
Using a Nuova Simonelli Espresso Machine the espresso based drinks are carefully made, adorned with latte art and served with a smile.
