I like this cafe and the mini roastery they have. The coffee was consistently good for everyone in our group and the service was very nice (a small change from the attitudes at the cafes down crown st). From what i understand they also supply a few other cafes. great stuff!

I often come to Swell when I come into Wollongong central on a weekday. I find the coffee great. Atmosphere is pleasant and good music. It can be noisy at peak times and only snacks are served here. I was missed in service today and they gave me a few shortbread to make up for it. Lovely staff if you are friendly. My fav quick coffee spot in Wollongong so far.
Great atmosphere. Really friendly staff. Smiling laughing and seemed overly happy. I ordered a ristretto and it was a little slow but that could be because it was quite busy. It came in a cap cup instead of a demi-tasse which was suprising. My friend ordered a flat White which was too milky probably because of the huge size of the cup. If the had the right glasswre everything would be perfect.
Like • Share • Reportstopped in to get a take away after a bad experience somewhere else this morning, it's a great little cafe but it would be even greater if the staff smiled once in a while (particuly the guy that seems to be the owner) I ordered a double latte, didn't have to wait long thankfully and left with a surprisingly small amount of change left in my pocket. coffee tasted nice, good milk texture and good balance between milk and espresso. a little bit bitter but maybe that's cause it's a double shot. satisfied I'm off to get on with my day
